A Culture Of Giving

As industry stewards, we take great pride in our active role in educating and supporting our industry and community. We are national instructors, leaders, philanthropists, and volunteers: the organizations below are but a few of those with whom we partner.

About Mercy Housing

Mercy Housing is one of the nation’s largest affordable housing organizations. They participate in the development, preservation, management and/or financing of affordable, program-enriched housing across the country. Mercy Housing serves a variety of populations with housing projects for low-income families, seniors and people with special needs. They acquire and renovate existing housing, as well as develop new affordable rental properties.

Mission Statement: To create stable, vibrant and healthy communities by developing, financing and operating affordable, program-enriched housing for families, seniors and people with special needs who lack the economic resources to access quality, safe housing opportunities.

About The Pike Place Market Foundation

The Market Foundation is a non-profit organization which supports housing and services for our low-income neighbors by fundraising, advocacy and community building. Over the past 30 years, The Market Foundation has contributed to a neighborhood model that allows our diverse community to live and thrive here at Pike Place Market. The Foundation does this by funding social services such as Pike Market Medical Clinic, Senior Center, Food Bank, Heritage House and Child Care & Preschool.

The Pike Place Market Foundation mission: The Pike Place Market Foundation is the heart of the Market. By helping our low-income neighbors who work, learn and live in and around the Market, the Foundation helps the Market you love remain a thriving, caring community.

About Toys for Tots

The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.

Mission: The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

About The Ronald McDonald House - Western Washington

The Ronald McDonald House in Seattle is a “home-away-from-home” for families while their child undergoes treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital. The House is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest. In addition to providing housing, they also offer a stocked common pantry, meals through our volunteer dinner groups, activities and outings for kids, daily visits from certified therapy dogs, and many other services for our families.

Mission: At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska, we support seriously ill children and their families. At the Seattle House, we provide a “home-away-from-home” to help families through a difficult time.
